Metal Gear Solid Vol 1 and 2 Questions

Hi guys. I am thinking about getting both MGS Collections (Vol 1 and 2). I have a few questions before proceeding:
1. For Volume 1, is it all in one Game, where you access MGS 1-3 from there? Or, is each game in Volume 1 separate?
2. I read a short article on Gamespot for the upcoming Volume 2, and it stated that MGS4 runs somewhat decently on Steam Deck, and PC for the most part. For Volume 2, is there any info on performance for the Switch 2 version?
Thoughts and help appreciated :)
