‘Unzipped’ Trailer: Isaac Mizrahi’s Landmark ’90s Fashion Documentary Returns In 4K

More than 30 years after “Unzipped” captured the creativity, anxiety, and spectacle behind Isaac Mizrahi’s fall 1994 collection, Douglas Keeve’s landmark fashion documentary is returning to theaters in a new 4K restoration. Janus Films has released the trailer ahead of its September rollout.

Directed by Keeve, Mizrahi’s partner at the time, “Unzipped” follows the designer as he attempts to rebound from a poorly received collection and mount what would become a career-defining runway show.
