Following its successful debut in Lagos, Jetour Nigeria is set to take its latest SUV, the Jetour T1, to Abuja as the automaker expands its presence in Nigeria's growing adventure SUV market.

The company will host the Jetour Experience Abuja from September 22 to 24, 2026, at the Maha Event Centre, Area 8, Garki, providing prospective customers and motoring enthusiasts with opportunities for product demonstrations, technical sessions and hands-on test drives.

In a statement, the company said strong participation and extensive test drives recorded during the Lagos edition, alongside growing demand from Abuja residents, influenced its decision to take the experience to the Federal Capital Territory.

"The strong participation, extensive test drives, and significant sales enquiries at the Lagos edition, coupled with growing demand from Abuja residents, influenced the decision to bring the experience to the nation's capital," the company said.

To strengthen its nationwide operations, Jetour Nigeria has established seven accredited dealerships comprising Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era AutoVehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, Tab Autos Limited, R.T. Briscoe Motors and Mandilas Autos.

The dealerships will provide retail sales, genuine spare parts and after-sales maintenance services.

The T1 is positioned as an SUV designed to combine off-road capability with everyday urban comfort. It measures 4,705mm in length, 1,967mm in width and 1,843mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800mm.

The model is available with 1.5-litre turbo and 2.0-litre turbo powertrains, with the latter producing up to 254 horsepower and 390Nm of torque. Its drivetrain features BorgWarner XWD intelligent four-wheel drive, paired with either a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The SUV also offers 199mm ground clearance, 600mm wading depth and 28-degree approach and departure angles.

Interior features include a 15.6-inch HD touchscreen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 platform, eight-speaker audio system and five-seat configuration with 574 litres of rear luggage capacity.

Safety equipment includes an 85 per cent high-strength steel chassis and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking.

Since entering the Nigerian market, Jetour has received local and international automotive recognitions, including Fastest Growing Auto Brand of the Year and Auto Brand of the Year.
