Nuntius Games is publishing Shard Squad on Nintendo Switch in just a few weeks, the company has announced. A release is planned for July 30, 2026.

Shard Squad is a bullet heaven game created by The Root Studios. It features a mix of fast-paced action, strategy, and charming elemental creatures.

In Shard Squad, players assemble a team of elemental creatures known as Shards, combining unique abilities and powerful synergies to survive relentless waves of enemies and challenging boss encounters.

Every run offers new strategic possibilities through different combinations of characters, relics, and abilities as players fight to save the kingdom of Mellunia from the mysterious phenomenon known as the Desalme.
