Kennebunk residents on Tuesday approved the town’s municipal budget and elected two new members to the town’s select board. 

The municipal budget was set at $30.27 million, with $20.62 million to be paid for through property taxes, representing a 4.61% increase from last year. 

The town also elected Michael Bresnahan and Elizabeth Ann Kaknes to the Kennebunk Select Board, replacing Kevin Therrien and William Ward Jr. 

Voters also elected Curtis Mildner for Kennebunk Light and Power District trustee and June Huston for the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells Water District trustee.

In the town’s uncontested races, Wayne Sargent, Ashley O’Brien, and Joseph Masters were elected to represent Kennebunk on the Regional School Unit 21 school board.
