Apple TV has unveiled the first-look images for its upcoming original drama ‘Nocturne,’ offering audiences an early glimpse at the tense psychological crime thriller inspired by the internationally bestselling novels Lazarus and The Sandman by Lars Kepler.

The 10-episode series stars and is executive produced by Tony Award winner and Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Liev Schreiber, alongside Emmy nominee Zazie Beetz and Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Stephen Graham.

Set to premiere globally on Friday, October 30, 2026, ‘Nocturne’ launches with its first two episodes before continuing with weekly releases every Friday through December 25, 2026, exclusively on Apple TV.

‘Nocturne’ follows Jonah Lynn (Liev Schreiber), a former soldier who has reinvented himself as a homicide detective. Hoping to leave behind the violence and pressures of policing the streets of Philadelphia, Jonah relocates with his family to a small town in Western Pennsylvania in search of a quieter existence.

That peace is shattered when the community becomes the hunting ground of the calculating and terrifying serial killer Jurek Walter (Stephen Graham). As the threat grows closer to home, Jonah is forced back into a relentless pursuit of a killer whose intelligence and brutality make him one of the most dangerous adversaries imaginable.

The investigation reaches a critical point when the hunt for Jurek’s final missing victim requires Jonah to send his surrogate daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Zazie Beetz), directly into the killer’s orbit. Faced with impossible choices, Jonah must decide just how far he is willing to go to save the people he loves.

The ensemble cast starring alongside Schreiber, Beetz and Graham includes Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Chrissy Metz, Poorna Jagannathan and Gary Carr.
