Prime Video has released the first-look images for its highly anticipated new action series ‘Neagley,’ while also confirming when fans can expect to dive into the next chapter of the expanding ‘Reacher’ universe.

Led by Maria Sten, who reprises her fan-favourite role as Frances Neagley, the spin-off promises an intense mystery filled with action, suspense and unexpected twists. Based on the character created by bestselling author Lee Child, the series gives Neagley the spotlight as she takes on her most personal case yet.

The streaming service has also confirmed an ambitious release schedule that connects directly with ‘Reacher’ Season Four. The new season of ‘Reacher’ premieres on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, with its first three episodes, followed by weekly episodes through to the finale on 16 September. Immediately after the ‘Reacher’ Season Four finale, all eight episodes of Neagley will debut exclusively on Prime Video on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

Set in Chicago, ‘Neagley’ follows private investigator Frances Neagley as she investigates the suspicious death of a close friend from her past. A former member of the Army’s elite 110th Special Investigations Unit alongside Jack Reacher, Neagley draws upon the skills and instincts she developed during her military career as she embarks on a relentless pursuit of justice.

As her investigation deepens, she uncovers a dangerous conspiracy that places her directly in the path of a formidable new threat, forcing her to rely on everything she learned while serving with Reacher.

Maria Sten leads an ensemble cast that includes Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole.

Alan Ritchson also makes a guest appearance, reprising his role as Jack Reacher, further strengthening the connection between the two series.

Based on the character created by Lee Child, ‘Neagley’ is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios.

The series is created by executive producer and co-showrunner Nick Santora.
