Shoppers looking for activewear on a budget are turning to supermarkets, with racks full of 'dupes' for high-end brands like Alo, Gymshark, and even SKIMS.

TikTok fitness enthusiasts are documenting their best finds from the clothing aisles at Tesco, Aldi, Asda and Sainsbury's, proving you don't need to spend a fortune.

Tesco's F&F Active range comprises everything from waterproof running jackets and running socks to yoga leggings and sports bras that bear striking similarities to more premium products.

One savvy shopper also unearthed a near-perfect replica of Manchester-based Adanola's versatile black-and-white running jacket at the supermarket.

While the label, which counts Kendall Jenner and Molly-Mae Hague among its clients, sells its version for £63, F&F's recreation only costs £22.50.

The brand also has similar pieces to bestselling styles from Kylie Jenner's go-to fitness label, Alo, as well as Gymshark, which is favoured by Hollywood stars and influencers alike.

Meanwhile, Asda has a range that could easily be mistaken for London-based sustainable activewear brand Tala.

Customers have raved about high-quality, butter-soft fabrics that aren't see-through for a fraction of the cost they are used to paying.

So, can you tell these high-end gym wear brands apart from their supermarket rivals?

Alo's high-waisted cycling shorts  

Tesco's clothing brand F&F has launched an Active collection that's all the rage on TikTok.

Of all the supermarkets, it's launched the most dupes - including one of buzzy American brand Alo's most popular cycling shorts. 

Alo's fans include model Rosie Huntington-Whitely, who even posted a photo of herself wearing the baby blue style on Instagram that costs nearly £90. 

Tesco's budget-friendly version in a very similar colour is 80 per cent cheaper.  

Gymshark's popular BBL jacket 

F&F's new collection also includes a 'BBL-style' jacket from Gymshark, one of the earliest brands to give gymwear a makeover. 

TikTok user @ashleighmoneysaver unearthed different colours of a jacket that closely resembles one of Gymshark's most popular styles at her local Tesco. 

The jacket has a funnel collar, a full zip to adjust the style, and cinched waist that F&F has duplicated almost perfectly. 

Adanola's water-repellent running jacket 

Since it was founded by Manchester-based brothers Hyrum and Josh Cook in 2015, Adanola has quietly become the go-to activewear label for celebrities like supermodel Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber and Maya Jama. 

One of its most famous styles is a black windbreaker that's perfect for running in the winter (and is currently sold-out). 

While Adanola's jacket retails for a cool £63, Tesco has created its own iteration for £22.50 and, as TikTok user @demirobertsonnn noted, you can barely tell the difference. 

SKIMS's cinched cotton t-shirts 

Founded by Kim Kardashian, SKIMS is easily one of the most frequently duped brands on this list as high-street retailers frequently create replicas of its viral bodysuits and innerwear. 

Now, Tesco has created a more affordable version of the £52 Cotton Jersey T-shirt that, TikTok users noted, has the same waist-cinching properties as the original.

Tala's black leggings 

Founded by British influencer-turned entrepreneur Grace Beverley in 2019, TALA is now a prominent feature of both the high street and Instagram's 'For You' page. 

The sustainable activewear brand sells high-end workout wear, ranging from shrugs for £34 and £44 sports bras, to leggings for £59. 

Now, Asda's George has put its own, more affordable twist on a pair of black leggings with a flattering wrap waist detail that doesn't break the bank.
