When it comes to ‘It’ brands, there are few as cool as Réalisation Par. Since launching in 2015, it’s won over the trendiest celebs from Alexa Chung to Hailey Bieber with its luxurious dresses (all 100% silk) featuring exclusively designed patterns, be those skimpy nightclub-ready minis or longer gowns fit for a black-tie event. And as you can probably tell by the name – which literally means ‘Made by, styled by’ in French – every garment has that effortlessly chic Parisian vibe.

The brand’s most popular silhouette is the Gia, a floor length, figure-skimming dress with a signature bell sleeve and flattering boat neckline. It now comes in seven colourways, our favourite of which is Réalisation’s original brown and white zebra print, which practically screams ‘off-duty supermodel on a tropical holiday’. Paired with a lazy beachy wave or thrown-together messy bun? As Emily in Paris would say: ‘très belle.’

As you’d expect, however, given it's made from 100% silk, it comes with a pretty hefty price tag. The Gia sells for £275, and while we agree it’s a stunning dress definitely worth the money if you’re looking for an investment piece, the reality is most of us can’t just drop that much on one item.

But while scrolling Mango’s new-in section, we spotted a floor length dress that’s practically a dead ringer for the Réalisation number. The high-street store’s Zebra-Print Flared Dress has an identical boat neck and bell sleeve, and the same flowy fabric that creates that gorgeous figure-hugging effect.

The Mango pattern is the same mocha and cream zebra print as the original, and we’ll be honest, looks wise this is one of the most spot-on dupes we’ve ever seen. It is made of polyester rather than silk, which explains the much lower price of £79.99. That’s a £195 saving compared to the Gia, for a dress that’s pretty much a dead ringer.
