Love Island viewers have issued the same complaint about Season 13 of the ITV2 show

Fans of Love Island are begging for a change after the latest episode of the ITV2 show.

Season 13 of the dating programme is well underway, with every week serving up fresh dramatic storylines. One of the strongest couples in the villa, Lola and Sean, were dumped by their co-stars just last night (July 12), following a public vote.

Their exit came shortly after new bombshells Elicia and Ethan joined the series and picked three Islanders each for a breakfast date. Elicia has since set her sights firmly on Finley, while Ethan has made his interest in Priya crystal clear.

After just a few days in the villa, the new arrivals were sent on yet another date in Monday's (July 13) episode. While fans initially welcomed the new Islanders, they have now issued complaints about the bombshells seemingly getting special treatment from producers.

Most long-standing couples in this season haven't been treated to one-on-one dates like in previous years, while the bombshells have continuously been gifted days out of the villa.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan said: "The bombshells getting more dates is crazy. They've already been on these dates #loveisland #loveislanduk."

Someone else agreed: "I just realised this year we haven't really got many dates this is like the 2nd date we've seen this season #loveislanduk."

Fans previously watched Lola and Sean head on their first date, but the other Islanders have mostly left the villa for dates after being selected by a bombshell.

A third viewer complained: "Mind you there's been no date for Javan or Simbalista, they just want to torture Ellie #LovelslandUK."

Yet another fan shared their brutal verdict, penning: "These bombshells get ANOTHER DATE, these producers are pathetic #loveisland #loveislanduk."

But others have pointed out that the established couples aren't especially solid this year.

"Has an established couple even got a date?????. Clearly the producers have also given up on love in this hopeless villa. #loveisland #loveislanduk," joked an ITV fan.

Following Sean and Lola's exit, the longest standing couples are Simba and Angelista, Jasmine and Kavan, and Mica and Samraj. They have all had rocky journeys so far, which has left fans questioning if they'll last.
