≠ME’s (Not Equal Me) “Ai Kudasai Mase” (Please give me your love) soars to No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, on the chart released July 1.

The group’s 12th single debuted on the chart at No. 94 last week, powered by the accompanying music video that dropped on June 11. The CD launched with 431,769 copies after going on sale June 24, powering the track to No. 1 on the tally this week. The group’s previous peak was No. 3 with “Haitateki Fighter,” making this their first No. 1 on the Japan Hot 100.

Last week’s No. 1, Kenshi Yonezu’s “Karasu” (Raven), slips a notch to No. 2 but sustains its momentum, with video views at 85% and streaming at 95% week-over-week. Sakanaction’s “Yoru no Odoriko” rises 4-3 as M!LK follows with “Sukisugite Metsu!” moving 5-4 and “Bakuretsu Aishiteru” falling 3-5.

New entries dominate this week’s chart, with 18 debuts landing inside the top 100. MAZZEL’s “So Strawberry” (released June 22) arrives at No. 7, SixTONES’ “Dance Forever” (June 24) at No. 9, and Hey! Say! JUMP’s “CUE CUE CUTE” (June 22) at No. 11. Hikaru Utada’s “PAPPAPARADISE” (the version featuring Japanese punk legend Hiroto Kohmoto) debuts at No. 34. Further new entries include NCT WISH’s “BOY MEETS GIRL” at No. 19, Stray Kids’ “RUN IT” at No. 26, Touken Danshi formation of Banryouhitou’s “Aratayo” at No. 29, and BUDDiiS’ “Kimi wa Toshi Densetsu” at No. 36.

VIBY’s “HANAMARU” climbs to No. 12 from No. 50 after moving 12,884 copies to hit No. 6 for sales and No. 1 for radio airplay. Keisuke Kuwata’s “Hitotarashi” — in its fourth week on the chart — surges to No. 22, with downloads up 251% and radio up 788% week-over-week, fueled by the release of his new album.

SUPER BEAVER’s “Climax” re-enters at No. 58. The soccer theme song for Fuji TV’s FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage dropped digitally on May 27, and saw streaming, downloads, and radio points climb on the back of both the June 24 release of the band’s new album Jinsei, which includes the song, and heightened attention around Japan’s World Cup matches.

=LOVE (Equal Love), which had one entry on the chart last week, places five songs simultaneously inside the top 100 this week: “Gekiyaku Chudoku” at No. 52, “Love Song ni Osowareru” at No. 62, “TokubeChu, Shite” at No. 67, “Zettai Idol Yamenaide” at No. 90, and “Ohimesama no Tsukurikata” at No. 92.
