I am a lifelong resident of District 27, specifically Soddy Daisy, and a proud business owner. I’ve built my business from the ground up by successfully building many schools and buildings throughout Hamilton County. Additionally, my children and grandchildren are building their futures here, too, living and working in the district. My roots could not be deeper, which is why it is very important to ensure we have strong representation in the Tennessee State House. 

I feel compelled to write in support of Tony Hullender running for the District 27 State House seat.

Mr. Hullender has an extremely qualifying resume: from serving in our nation’s military where he started as an Army private in Germany and then promoted to Army officer in Central America and other places. 

After his service in the military, Tony graduated from U.T. Law School, then worked in a private law firm. Most recently, he retired from his legal career after a decade in the Tennessee Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Division. 

Refreshingly, Mr. Hullender is focused on the issues affecting everyday Tennesseans. He cares about issues such as the conditions of our roads and the cost of healthcare and senior care, while bringing a uniquely knowledgeable perspective to the table with his work history in Medicaid Fraud.
