NEW YORK — Jimmy Kimmel is heading back to his home turf next week following his successful return to his late night post after being “indefinitely suspended” by ABC/Disney.

The Emmy Award-winning funnyman will bring “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” back to Brooklyn the first time since 2022 — with a star-studded lineup.

Tom Hanks, Emily Blunt, Ryan Reynolds, Stephen Colbert, Josh Johnson, Kumail Nanjiani, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jeremy Allen White are scheduled to appear on the chatfest when it broadcasts from the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House the week of Sept. 29 to Oct. 3.

Musical guests will include Public Enemy, Reneé Rapp, Geese and Living Colour.

Kimmel, who was raised in Mill Basin, previously told Variety why he loves bringing his show back to the Thorough Borough: “I was born here. A lot of my family is here. Probably more than anything, it’s fun for us all to be here together and to eat and to hang out and to go to great bars.

He added that Brooklyn “has a little bit of a different feel than shows that are in the city.”

The former star of Comedy Central’s “The Man Show” is riding a ratings wave amid Disney/ABC’s controversial decision to suspend him in the aftermath of comments he made about conservative reactions to the shooting of Charlie Kirk.

After a near weeklong pause, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” reached its highest ratings in a decade.

According to Disney, the long-running series tripled its average ratings — to the tune of nearly 6.3 million viewers. A further 26 million watched Kimmel’s 28-minute monologue on social media, too.

This surge in viewership occurred despite the show being preempted by a quarter of ABC stations throughout the country.

Nexstar Media and the Sinclair Broadcasting Group, which combine to operate 72 ABC stations nationwide, has stood steadfast in banning “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” from its airwaves after Disney/ABC announced the show’s return.

“We stand by that decision pending assurance that all parties are committed to fostering an environment of respectful, constructive dialogue in the markets we serve,” Nexstar said in a statement on Tuesday.
