The weather forecast for this week in Dubai is looking a little cheerier than the seasonal average, but oh sweet summer child, if you think that’s set to continue, you haven’t been paying attention.

It’s now a confirmed El Niño year, and whilst Dubai usually escapes the worst of this climactic event’s mercury escalations (due to its already high baseline temperatures), some increase in average heat and humidity is expected by experts.

Locals and seasoned residents know not to panic. What’s a couple of degrees here and there in a Dubai summer anyway? Especially when you have almost omnipresent AC, temperature controlled pools and gelato on Deliveroo?

If you want the chill factor in an alfresco setting though, there is a place that you can go in Dubai where it’s 26ºC outside all year round.
