Ten members of the Sanford Mainers have been selected to participate in the New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game on Sunday at Goodall Park in Sanford.

First baseman Steven Kraus of Binghamton University and outfielder Jack Tate of St. John’s will be in the starting lineup for the North Division. The pitching staff includes relievers Sam Young of Richmond, Matt Mahoney of Northeastern and Andrew Middleton of Maryland. Shortstop Albert De La Rosa of UMaine, second baseman Jake Harring of Salve Regina, outfielder Nater Wachter of UConn and catcher Dom Tozzi of Coastal Carolina are reserves, along with former Cheverus star and current University of Rhode Island player Brian Connolly, who was chosen as a designated hitter.

All-star festivities begin at 2:30 p.m. with a home run derby. The game starts at 5 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN+.
