If you watched The X Factor, you might be familiar with British girl group Little Mix.

Though no longer together, the group’s legacy lives on, and JADE made sure of that during her Lollapalooza set Sunday.

Jade Thirlwall, or JADE, first gained popularity as a member of The X Factor’s Little Mix, which was active from 2011 to 2022. 

She released her debut solo single, “Angel of My Dreams,” in 2024, which surpassed 82 million streams on Spotify. Her debut album, “THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!,” came a year later, further growing her fanbase and demonstrating her solo star power.

That star power was present during the final day of Lollapalooza, as JADE showed both her vocal prowess and her appreciation for Little Mix.

“If you’re with someone you fancy tonight, give them a kiss from me,” JADE said before launching into her 2024 single, “Fantasy.”

Both “Fantasy” and “Angel of My Dreams” were crowd favorites. JADE’s vocal talent was especially apparent on both songs; her falsetto voice powerfully ringing into the audience.

Not only did JADE play her solo work, but she also made sure to dedicate part of her set to Little Mix.

“Does anyone know about Little Mix?” she asked at one point during her set.

The crowd clearly hadn’t forgotten about the group — festivalgoers screamed at the mere mention of it.

“They were pretty big, you know,” JADE continued. “I’m so proud to have come from Little Mix. I’m proud of everything we achieved together … It only felt right to pay homage to one of the best girl bands ever.”

JADE started Little Mix’s 2016 song, “Touch,” which transitioned into a medley of Little Mix songs, including “Power” and “Shout Out to My Ex.”

Even as JADE’s solo career continues to flourish, she made clear that there’s no forgetting the group she started with.
