Blue Finch Film has released the first teaser trailer for ‘Mission’, an emotionally charged new drama thriller from acclaimed filmmaker Paul Wright (For Those In Peril). Led by George MacKay (1917, Femme).

In ‘Mission,’ Adrift, Dylan (MacKay) gives himself one week and a mission: to truly live before he dies. Transcendence gives way to transgression as Dylan pushes himself and the world around him to the very limits in the hope of finding meaning, connection and salvation.

MacKay stars alongside Rosy McEwen (Blue Jean, Black Mirror), Emun Elliott (Game of Thrones, Prometheus) and Emma Naomi (Bridgerton, Professor T).

‘Mission’ will celebrate its World Premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
