He will be discussing Nose Wheel Steering: A challenge problem for software reliability and safety at ASSC2014

Colin O’Halloran will be seen at the Australian System Safety Conference (ASSC2014) on the 29th May as the Keynote Speaker discussing Nose Wheel Steering: A Challenge Problem for software reliability and safety. Colin is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and has spent 30 years working with High Integrity Systems in Industry and will be speaking next to such well-known figures at Prof. Nancy Leveson from MIT and Prof. Dines Bjorner from Technical University of Denmark.
Colin will also be holding a half-day tutorial on Challenges in certifying autonomous systems for aircraft software, which will be held on the 27th May.
The Australian System Safety conference consists of the Australian Safety Critical Systems Association and the Systems Safety Society Australian Chapter, both of which dedicate themselves to the advancement of safety-systems and all related things by bringing together industry, academia, commercial and governmental knowhow and knowledge.
