NBC10 was at the scene where police shut down several blocks during the investigation. Two vehicles at the scene were heavily damaged; including one where police were seen on cell phone video smashing the window to rescue the man who later died and take him to the hospital.
“I was deep sleeping and I just heard, pop pop pop pop pop pop,” said Dan Singletary, who lives in the area. “I jumped up and I looked out the window, but I didn’t see nobody.”

An investigation revealed someone began firing, and the woman was hit, according to police.
Then, several hours later, in Southwest Philadelphia, police said just before 7 a.m. on Sunday, a 42-year-old man was shot on the 6200 block of Woodland Avenue.
