Welcome to Morning Open Thread. I will continue the tradition of a theme.
The theme is very expandable, in whatever clever ways you devise to do that! And there are no demerits for straying from the theme.
thanks! to all the folks who join the thread.

This is my final MOT diary, I’ve been writing them since the beginning of 2025. Thanks to all who joined in the comment fun over that time.
I’ll be 80 years old in September, so do not want to have ‘commitments’ at that age and beyond.
The line-up after today:
Sun: Ice Blue, Mon: officebss, Tue: RandomNeuron, Wed: youffraita, Thu: eeff, Fri: DHM. Sat: RandomNeuron
I’ll be loitering in the wings, enjoying the words of the diarists and commenters. And no more worries about the publish gremlins.

Here’s me singing and playing another song called ‘Adios Amigo’. Originally by Marty Robbins. I played the ‘lead guitar’ parts on an instrument called a ‘guilele’, a hybrid of guitar and ukulele, I found it an an auction. That’s it in the pic next to my Taylor acoustic guitar.
