Perse students have achieved another outstanding set of A level results, with 126 pupils securing three or more grades at A* or A.
Overall, 95% of A level entries were graded A*–B, with 76% awarded A* or A, with 40% receiving the top A* grade.
Nearly two-thirds of the year group achieved three or more A* or A grades, while 44 pupils – just under a quarter of all students sitting A levels – attained three or more A* grades.
At subject level, more than 80% of entries were graded A* or A in Art, Biology, Computer Science, Economics, Geography, German, Maths, Further Maths, Music, Physics and Religious Studies.
Principal and Head of the Upper School Ed Elliott commented: “I congratulate the Upper Sixth on their outstanding A level results, which are the product of years of dedicated learning, excellent teaching and supportive pastoral care,”
“The Upper Sixth have been wonderful contributors and role models, and they thoroughly deserve their success. I wish them all well for the future.”
The results follow The Daily Telegraph’s recent recognition of The Perse as the ‘best value’ independent school in East Anglia. The award recognised the excellence of the School’s examination results relative to the fees it charges.
As students consider their next steps, staff will be available in School to provide advice and support on examination results, university applications and future plans as required.
