The Chattanooga World Food Truck Festival announces the official launch of the DadBod GO Passport, a new interactive experience that will debut during this year’s festival this Saturday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at Tennessee Riverpark, 4301 Amnicola Hwy. in Chattanooga. Admission is free.
Presented in partnership with DadBod GO, the Passport encourages guests to explore the festival by visiting participating food trucks, vendors and attractions while completing interactive challenges through the DadBod GO app.
Participants will earn rewards, unlock exclusive experiences and be entered for prize giveaways simply by engaging with businesses throughout the event.
"The launch represents a major milestone for DadBod GO as the platform continues expanding its mission of connecting consumers with local businesses through real-world experiences," officials said.
“The Chattanooga World Food Truck Festival is the perfect place to launch the DadBod GO Passport,” said Cameron Parker, founder of DadBod GO and presenting partner of the festival. “We’re creating more than an app – we’re building a platform that rewards people for getting out, supporting local businesses and discovering experiences they may never have found otherwise. This is the future of community engagement.”
Mr. Parker says the technology is designed to benefit both guests and businesses alike.
“For businesses, the DadBod GO Passport changes the way they interact with customers. Instead of hoping someone walks by, businesses can create memorable experiences that drive traffic, increase engagement and encourage repeat visits. It’s a new way to build loyal customers while giving guests something fun and rewarding.”
Festival Producer Chef Sara Turney, owner of Hearthara Culinary, believes the partnership adds another exciting dimension to an already packed day.
“We’ve built this festival to celebrate food, music, family and community. The DadBod GO Passport encourages guests to experience everything the festival has to offer - from trying new food trucks and shopping with local vendors, to discovering entertainment throughout the grounds. It’s an incredible addition that makes the entire festival more interactive.”
The Chattanooga World Food Truck Festival will feature more than 40 food trucks from across the Southeast, live music throughout the day, artisan and retail vendors, community organizations, inflatables, family activities and a special outdoor showing of Ratatouille at dusk.
Festival organizers are encouraging all guests to use the designated public parking area to ensure efficient traffic flow.
Primary Guest Parking will be at Chattanooga State Community College - Lot 18, 4501 Amnicola Hwy. in Chattanooga. Guests should follow event signage to Lot 18, where parking will be available throughout the day. From the lot, attendees can enjoy a short walk along the marked pathway directly into the festival grounds.
A limited number of ADA-accessible parking spaces will remain available inside Tennessee Riverpark. Guests who do not require accessible parking are asked to utilize Lot 18 to help keep these spaces available for visitors with mobility needs.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid peak traffic and enjoy a full day of food, entertainment and activities.
