A domestic disturbance in northeast Las Vegas ended in a man’s death on Saturday.

In an email, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Robert Price said police on Saturday night were investigating a killing in the area of the 6000 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, west of North Hollywood Boulevard.

Price told media outlets on Saturday that the incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance call. He said the victim — identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Anthony Lewis, 31 — went to an ex-girlfriend’s residence that afternoon. Price said the preliminary investigation determined someone in the house called police about the domestic disturbance, and within about 10 minutes, someone shot him.
