Derby County kick off their pre-season campaign tonight as they face Alfreton Town in a friendly as the countdown to the new season begins.
Ahead of their trip to Austria tomorrow for a week's training camp, Derby face the Northern Premier League side at the Impact Arena in their first workout of the summer.
A host of first-team players are expected to feature, including Bobby Clark following his £6m move from RB Salzburg, and Charlie Taylor, who has joined on a free transfer following his exit from Southampton.
Carlton Morris, Dion Sanderson, Matt Clarke, Lewis Travis and other first-team squad members are also set to feature for the game against a Town side managed by Derby favourite Jake Buxton.
There is under a month to go before the season gets under way against Lincoln in the Carabao Cup on August 8 before the Championship season kicks off at Charlton on August 15.
We will bring you all the team news and the match action once the game gets under way so make sure you stay tuned for all the goals as they go in.

Goals from Joe Ward and Bobby Clark ensured Derby County kicked off their pre-season campaign with a victory against non-league Alfreton Town.
Head coach John Eustace named a strong first XI at the Impact Arena and Derby's quality proved too much for the non-league side who are managed by Derby favourite Jake Buxton.
Ward opened the scoring when Ryan Hedges, who is training with Derby after his exit from Blackburn, teased a delicious cross to the back post from which the winger buried a header into the net.
The lead was doubled when Hedges found Carlton Morris whose clever ball around the corner picked out the run of Bobby Clark who applied a cool finish.
The only downside to the first half was an injury to Hedges as he appeared to jar his ankle when attempting to bring the ball under control in the first half.
Eustace sent out a completely different team in the second half which contained a smattering of the first-team squad with Lars-Jorgen Salvesen and Kenzo Goudmijn among them.
Derby's goal was under little threat but Richard O'Donnell did make a terrific save to deny Charlie Finney before Salvesen was denied at the other end.

Nasty clash of heads
Luca Crolla has had to come off after a clash of heads, but the defender is just being given some time to recover. I hope he's okay.
17th Jul20:43 BST
Unlucky
Oguntolo does everything right as he heads a cross back across the face of goal, but Alfreton manage to clear the danger.
17th Jul20:40 BST
Save
And for the first time in the evening, Alfreton pose a threat as Charlie Finney forces a super save from O'Donnell.
17th Jul20:26 BST
Another hydration break
Dajaune Brown is playing on the right wing. Not his position but he's taken to this game as if he has a point to prove. Has put himself about and I've also been impressed by Adisa Osayande who has won countless headers so far.
17th Jul20:13 BST
OVER
Eames releases Salvesen inside the box and his low cross is sliced over the bar for a corner.
17th Jul20:11 BST
Derby fans scream for a penalty
Corner comes into the box and there is Rio Canoville who appears to be hauled to the ground. He looks at the ref for a penalty, but not given.
17th Jul20:04 BST
Second half team
O'Donnell, Canoville, Osayande, Crolla, Gill, Goudmijn, Thompson, Brown, Eames, Smith; Salvesen

Half-time
Derby lead 2-0 and it's been a very comfortable night so far.
17th Jul19:44 BST
Almost three
Morris turns superbly inside the box, but just can't bend his shot the right side of the post.
Ball hits the side netting although there were some cheers as some thought it was in.
17th Jul19:41 BST
That's a disappointment
Hedges has had to come off after jarring something while attempting to control a ball on the halfway line. Doesn't look that serious as he's walked down the tunnel. But he was playing ever so well.
Hopefully that doesn't rule him out of the trip to Austria as the lack of wingers is abundantly clear.
17th Jul19:35 BST
Lovely goal
Morris has looked sharp, Clark too. Hedges is doing himself no harm at all in terms of making an impact. Can see why Eustace was a big fan.
17th Jul19:33 BST
2-0
Derby have been very comfortable and they've made it 2-0. Hedges finds Morris who turns a lovely ball around the corner for Clark.
The midfielder beats the offside trap, surges through on goal and finds the bottom corner.
17th Jul19:29 BST
Had a slight delay
We've had a mini break to allow the players to take on some fluids. Alfreton not posed one serious question of Derby's defence so far.
They've had a couple of set-pieces but the delivery has been poor and overhit
17th Jul19:21 BST
Should be 2-0
Derby are close to adding to their lead as Carlton Morris sends a firm header towards goal that is brilliantly saved by A Trialist.
17th Jul19:17 BST
Nearly
Lovely clipped ball from Morris picks out the run of Johnston whose cross matches the run of Fraulo but the midfielder can't get his head over the ball and watches his effort fly over.
17th Jul19:13 BST
GOAL
Derby have the lead and it's a cracking goal too. Hedges, who has been the standout player so far, breaks free down the left and his cross is absolutely superb as Joe Ward thunders in a powerful header.
But the goal was all about the delivery.
17th Jul19:12 BST
SAVED
A long ball over the top catches the Alfreton defence square and Morris is through. He tries to go across the goalkeeper, but the pitch does him no favours.
He doesn't catch the ball cleanly and it's a comfortable save.
Clark then follows up with a run into box and is denied.
17th Jul19:06 BST
Hedges
Has looked bright in the opening few minutes. Happy to come inside and try to get Derby moving.
Derby have looked for a couple of passes that has put the pitch to the test and unsurprisingly it's very firm. A couple of searching balls have gone out of play.
17th Jul19:00 BST
CHANCE
Lovely start from Derby as Fraulo sets Hedges free. He plays a delightful one-two with Clark and finds Travis whose shot is blocked.
Good opening that. Nice and positive.

We are about to get under way
Alfreton will get us started.
17th Jul18:54 BST
Alfreton pitch
As you would expect it's very dry due to the heat. Think the priority tonight is get the muscles working again, build up that fitness and the key aspect avoid injuries at all costs.
17th Jul18:50 BST
So just to run through the night
Team in each half. On the bench is largely academy products with a smattering of first-team players. Among them Kenzo, Thommo, Dajaune Brown, Lars-Jorgen Salvesen.
17th Jul18:00 BST
Team
Vickers, Johnston, Sanderson, Clarke, Forsyth; Travis, Fraulo, Ward, Clark, Hedges, Morris
17th Jul17:51 BST
Good evening
Fair to say the temperatures have risen compared to earlier. Expecting a team in each half. FIrst team squad has travelled - obvioulsly no Zetterstrom or Langas who have been at the World Cup.
17th Jul17:45 BST
Good evening
And welcome from the Impact Arena where Derby get their pre-season campaign under way tonight.
Expecting there will be plenty of first-team players on show as Derby look to brush off the cobwebs following the summer break.
Ryan Hedges could also be given a runout tonight after linking up with Derby for pre-season training. Was released by Blackburn at the end of last season.
