The university has risen in this year's ranking by 19 positions

Ural Federal University has entered the top 30 best universities in the country for admission in 2026. These are the results of a study of higher education institutions in the framework of the Changellenge Best Company Award 2026 from the Changellenge career platform.

About 9,000 students and graduates from 47 universities in the country rated their universities on the quality of education, career opportunities, and readiness to enter the labor market. UrFU rose by 19 positions in this ranking and took 9th place.

A significant proportion of students enter the labor market even before graduation. By the time they graduate, many already have real professional experience. All this is the result of events conducted by the university: job fairs, workshops, trainings, meetings with company representatives. They help students to better understand the requirements of employers, assess their competencies, and more confidently go through the first stages of their careers.

One of the biggest events is the annual "Career Time" campaign. Dozens of companies from various industries participate in it: industry, fintech, and the service sector.

This year, another one was added to the university's career guidance events – "Partner Fridays", where representatives of large companies in the field of information technology tell applicants about their practice and employment in the IT field.
