The Chattanooga Audubon Society is hosting a songwriter’s workshop on Sunday, July 28 from 1-5 p.m. 

The workshop is open to all levels, including those who have never written a song. Participants will learn about formatting songs, different rhythms, clever rhymes and creating or strengthening ‘hooks,’ which makes a song "unique and special to the writer and the listener."

Participants are encouraged to bring their song ideas or any written words, including poems. Instruments are welcome for the optional song share.

The workshop will be taught by Paige O’Neill, an Atlanta-based songwriter who enjoys sharing her creativity with others.

She is preparing to record her third album, and recently taught the songwriters workshop at Cohutta’s Music Festival.
