Nifty has risen well, breaking above its resistance in line with our expectation. That keeps intact our broader bullish view. An inverted head and shoulder pattern on the daily chart strengthens the bullish case for the Nifty. That keeps the door open for the Nifty to rise above 25,000 in the coming weeks.

Nifty can rise to 24,750-24,800. The upside remains open to see 25,300 with an inverted head and shoulder pattern on the chart.

The Nifty Bank index can remain inside the range for some more time before making a bullish breakout.

The Nifty Bank index is likely to make a bullish breakout above 58,800 and rise to 60,500-61,500.
