Super El Nino threat unseen since 1950 shaping up, says Australian Met body

GST collection surges 14% in June

India’s gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 14% year-on-year to ₹1.95 lakh crore in June, driven by a 34.6% surge in import-related tax collections, while net collections grew 11.2% to over ₹1.62 lakh crore after refunds.

Centre slashes 5 KG LPG cylinder prices; reduces Commercial LPG & domestic ATF rates

PSU oil marketing companies have reduced the price of commercial LPG by ₹183.50 per 19-kg cylinder, 5-kg LPG by ₹13 per cylinder and domestic aviation turbine fuel by ₹5 per litre, while the price of domestic 14.2-kg LPG cylinders remains unchanged at ₹942.

PMI Manufacturing dipped to 54.2 in June

India’s manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) slipped to 54.2 in June from 55 in May, indicating continued expansion but at a slower pace as demand, output, new orders and employment growth moderated, while price pressures eased.
