Clipboard just randomly stops working

@JohnC Welcome to the forum Do you have your Mac set to use multiple languages? I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new by saying that's a (usually) French language character, which means that macOS is converting Option + C into the ç character. I would recommend using a slightly more complex combo like Option + Cmd + C instead, as it's less likely to interfere with some of the macOS hotkey combos. Let me know how you get on :)
