We present a genome assembly from an individual Acanthosepion lycidas (kisslip cuttlefish; Mollusca; Cephalopoda; Sepiida; Sepiidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 5 155.67 megabases. Most of the assembly (96.55%) is scaffolded into 46 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.25 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Aquatic Symbiosis Genomics Project.
