Demolition of the former Raptors Pizza has begun as the owner of the property at 3711 W. Main Street Road has the building cleared to make way for a dental facility.The property was mentioned in Building Inspector Dan Lang's report to the Town Board during Wednesday night's meeting."They're tearing it down. AG Dental is the company that bought it. That's my understanding," board member Chad Zambito said after the meeting ended. "I assume it's going to be a medical facility, dental facility, based on the owner, what we understand."Aside from Raptors Pizza, the property used to be a Scooter's Family Restaurant, Severe's Turkey Kitchen and John & Mary's."It hasn't been operational in awhile, but that's the last thing that was in there," Zambito said of Raptors. "They were open for a short time."The building was home to one restaurant or another for a number of years.Town Supervisor Greg Post said the new owner applied and has the permits it needs to start building there after the current structure is gone."It starts with demolition and then it moves up to construction and inspection, and certification," he said.
