Iran says Strait of Hormuz is closed after striking vessel using ‘unauthorised route’
Let’s start with the escalating Iran-US tensions. Iran has declared the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed again after a ship was fired upon with a warning shot, raising fears over the fragile ceasefire with the United States. Tehran has also accused Washington of violating the interim deal, while President Donald Trump warned of strong military retaliation if Iran attempts to assassinate him.
Tata Consultancy Services plans up to 8,900 AI deployment engineers, seeks AI acquisitions

Retail inflation likely to have breached 4% mark in June
