Former Derby County defender Danny Batth has completed a move to Millwall following his exit from Pride Park.
The centre-back has signed a one-year contract at the New Den following a successful trial with the Championship club.
Batth left Derby at the beginning of July after he failed to reach an agreement over a new contract despite head coach John Eustace being keen to keep the defender.
But he will now be hoping to play a part in Millwall's chase for a place in the play-offs having been reunited with his old Sunderland boss Alex Neil.
Millwall's director of football Steve Gallen said: "We're pleased to bring Danny in. He's a hugely experienced centre-back who's earned respect throughout the game over a long career, and that experience is exactly what we're looking to add to this group..
"Danny's leadership and attitude will count for a lot, both on the pitch and in the dressing room. ". "He adds strong competition in that area of the pitch, and it's also allowed Kamarl (Grant) to go out on loan, which is a good move for him - he'll get valuable league experience and continue his development. "
While not a first-team regular, Batth proved to be a good backup for Derby when called upon. He had an excellent game against Birmingham City last Christmas.
Sondre Langas and Matt Clarke are the club's first-choice centre-back pairing, although Dion Sanderson was called into the first team on plenty of occasions.
Derby have since moved for Charlie Taylor after Batth's departure, with the left-back, who can also play centre-half, signing a one-year contract after his exit from Southampton.
