The first days of the project combined studies, excursions and sports [photo report]

The first week of the "Summer University" project has ended in UrFU. In a few days, participants from different countries managed to immerse themselves in the educational program, get to know the region, visit the largest industrial sites and take part in a rich cultural and sports program.

The learning process remains the main part of the project. Students have started studying in their chosen educational tracks, attend lectures, seminars and practical classes, working together with UrFU teachers and experts.

Apart from it, students take part in extra-curricular activities:

• "Evening of National Hospitality" – they prepared traditional dishes of their countries and performed folk and modern dances, songs in their native languages;
• a visit to the "Innoprom" industrial exhibition – they got acquainted with modern technologies, developments of Russian and foreign companies and saw promising solutions for the industry;
• a visit to the monastery in Ganina Yama, enjoyed outdoor activities in "Park Ckazov" (Fairytale Park), stepped their feet on the border between Europe and Asia;
• sports activities – a warm-up with a muai-thai champion Tagir Khalilov on July 11, a lecture and a training session by a Russian MMA fighter Ivan Shtyrkov on July 12.
