The project will be held at the university for the fourth time

From July 6 to July 19, UrFU will once again host the international project "Summer University" with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Educational Institution "Sociocenter". 430 students from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Jordan, China, Republika Srpska, Serbia, Sri Lanka and South Africa will come to Ekaterinburg.

Participants will be offered eight educational programs in Russian and English. They are dedicated to information technology and artificial intelligence, economics, management, humanities, law, and nuclear technology. In addition to specialized classes, students will receive lectures on the development of soft skills, social design and career trends.

The organizers will pay special attention to the project work. Students will solve real-world cases prepared by industrial partners, and in the second week they will join international interdisciplinary teams to work on a common project. Rosatom State Corporation together with the Obninsk Institute of Atomic Energy of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI will act as the general partner of the project block. The best projects will be awarded by business and industry experts.

In addition to the training program, participants will enjoy a rich cultural and sightseeing program. They will get acquainted with Ekaterinburg and the new UrFU campus, visit the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition, the UMMC Museum of Military and Automotive Equipment, Skazov Park, the Europe – Asia stele, the Yeltsin Center, and also take part in sports, creative and national cultural events.

The Summer University project is being held in UrFU for the fourth time. Over the past three years, more than 1,200 students from different countries have become participants.
