A celebrity who needs no introduction, Katie Price has confirmed she'll definitely be making an appearance at Newcastle Pride this weekend. And she is due to take to the stage outside a well known bar in the city centre as part of a packed weekend of entertainment.

Never far away from the headlines, model, TV star and business mogul Katie has been back in them in a big way so far this year, thanks to her marriage to husband Lee Andrews and his mysterious 'disappearance' In Dubai. The last time Katie was on stage in the North East was in summer 2024, when she duetted with a fan on A Whole New World - the Disney song she famously recorded with ex husband Peter Andre - during an 'Audience with' style event at the Tyne Theatre.

A few months prior to that, she appeared in an adult panto in North Shields as Queen Rat, a role which had her singing songs like Whitney Houston's Bodyguard anthem Queen of the Night, Steps' Deeper Shade of Blue and Kylie classic Better The Devil You Know, as her star turn silenced a few critics.

Who knows what songs will be on her setlist when she takes to the stage in Newcastle for Pride on Saturday night, as part of Scotswood Show bar's outdoor stage line-up. Katie is due on stage at the bar's Showbiz Stadium around 9pm and, gearing up for the event in a video that was shared on social media on Tuesday, she told fans: "Oh my god, this Saturday, Scotswood bar, Newcastle Pride. I am there this Saturday to perform a few tracks...live! Can't wait to see you all there."

Entry to Scotswood Show Bar's Showbiz Stadium on Saturday will be by ticket only, with Saturday tickets costing £8.50 and other acts on the line-up including Drag Race UK favourite Catrin Feelings, singer MIchael T.Ogilvie and local drag icons like Janice D and Lucy Phurr.

The entertainment at the Showbiz Stadium will continue into Sunday, with performances coming from acts including Steps and Vengaboys tributes and Shelly Stevens, fresh from her star turn at Bents Park in South Shields at the weekend. The Showbar itself will be free to enter all weekend.
