Brock struck again in the fifth with a two-RBI double, and Batavia added two more in the sixth on a Jalen David sacrifice fly and a Jackson Inman RBI double to push the lead to 7-0.Connor Gaitens hit a solo home run for Niagara in the seventh, but Brock answered with a sacrifice fly in the eighth to make it 8-1.Then the Ironbacks made it interesting. London Prashad scored on a wild pitch, and two at-bats later Gaitens crushed a grand slam to pull Niagara within 8-6. Eric Woodley came on and shut the door, striking out two in the ninth to secure his third save of the season.Brock finished 2 for 2 with a double, five RBIs, two walks and a run. David went 2 for 4 with a double, an RBI, two runs and his 26th stolen base of the season. Inman went 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI, a stolen base and two walks.Gaitens led Niagara with two home runs and five RBIs.Dean Hoshide earned the win, throwing two innings with four strikeouts. Jack Kemp took the loss, throwing three innings with four strikeouts.Batavia hosts the Jamestown Tarp Skunks tomorrow, July 1, at 6:30 p.m. for Weenie Wednesday $1 Hot Dog Night at Dwyer Stadium.
