A graduation gala took place for the joint educational programs with Dalian University [photo report]

On June 22, the graduation ceremony for joint educational programs of Ural Federal University and Dalian University was held at the Sinara Center Cultural and Exhibition Complex. The solemn event brought together graduates, teaching staff, heads of educational programs, representatives of the diplomatic corps and guests of the university.

The key event was the graduation ceremony for graduates of joint educational programs in "Design", "Management" and "Media Communications". Oleg Obukhov, UrFU Vice Rector for Education, and Fan Chao, Consul for Education at the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Ekaterinburg, addressed the participants with welcoming words and congratulations.

"The People's Republic of China is one of UrFU's most important strategic partners. Our cooperation with Dalian University began in 2019. During this time, we have launched online bachelor's and master's degree programs in the areas of Management, Media Communications, Design, and Physical Education. Today, more than 250 students are enrolled in these programs. Last year, the first graduation took place – 16 bachelors, and today there is a new, much more numerous graduation – more than 60 students, this is just the beginning," Oleg Obukhov shared in his speech.

The joint educational programs of UrFU and Dalian University continue to strengthen academic cooperation between Russia and China, creating opportunities for students to gain international educational experience and professional competencies in an intercultural environment.
