With the long summer break upon us, it's no surprise parents are looking for days out on a budget and if you've got children of different ages it can be hard to find somewhere to keep everyone happy.
But there's a farm near Manchester which is ticking a lot of boxes for parents in the holidays and that's The Hayloft Cheshire.
Established in 2017, the Sandy Lane farm has been diversified by the Owen family - fourth generation farmers - and now includes a coffee shop, a play barn and a whole lot more.

Its annual sunflower maze is now up and running, costing £3.50 per person, which includes a hunt for letters to make a word and two sunflower stems to take home. Extra stems from the pick your own area cost £1 each.
There's also a miniature train which families can enjoy, which also costs £3.50 a ride, as well as a popular air conditioned coffee shop and an ice cream parlour selling Cheshire Farm ice cream.
But there's lots of free fun to be had on the site too, including a free sports field with a swing ball, football and tennis; a den building barn with slides and swings; and a children's play area and pedal tractor barn.
The farm also has a number of animals families can visit including Belted Galloway cows, ponies, goats, sheep and guinea pigs.
Rod Owen, who runs the farm with his three children, Evie, Thomas and Seb, said: "We welcome many thousands of people throughout the year. Of course school holidays are massive for us and we have lots to keep kids happy with the play barn and train.
"As well as the sunflowers, we have a huge Halloween event growing 25 acres of pumpkins. On the back of that event we intend to have a bonfire and firework display."
The farm also hosts themed evenings and recently held its first Hayloft Hoedown - a country and western night with live country acts, line dancing experience and bucking bronco together with a BBQ.
It was such a huge success that another Hayloft Hoedown is now planned for Saturday, August 29 with limited tickets still available.
Rod added: "I have a wonderful team running The Hayloft and apart from being a coffee shop, we do weddings and functions, all in-house and catered by our great kitchen team of three chefs.
"We have exciting plans for next year with the return of Hayloft Live, a family focused festival. It's an event we last hosted two years ago which 2,000 people attended and we hope to increase the tickets available for 2027.
"There's always lots going on and events being planned as we welcome old and new visitors to the farm."
The attraction is open daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm and later in the summer will be staying open later on selected dates for its popular Sunflower Sundowners serving drinks and stone baked pizzas.
